This subject is the synergistic integration of mechanical components or systems with the use of sensors, actuators, real time electronics interfacing, controls, and computers through the design process, from the conceptual design process, thus enabling complex decision making. The topics includes introduction to electro-mechanical integration, sensors and transducers, signal conditioning, digital signal, digital logic, data acquisition systems, hydraulic and pneumatic system, mechanical and electrical actuation systems, hardware components for mechanical system integration, signal, system and controls, advance application in electro-mechanical system and some case studies and project related to electro-mechanical system.
